How to make Christmas trees

Mix together the melted butter, brown sugar and cinnamon and spread it on the puff pastry sheet.

Fold the roll in half (sealing the filling inside) and cut it into strips.

Roll it up and insert the toothpick in the centre.

 Place on the baking tray and brush with beaten egg.

 Bake according to instructions and serve with a dusting of icing sugar.
