On the 14th of April, Vandemoortele Ibérica celebrated its 25th anniversary with its staff at the Esfèric in Barcelona.
Celebrating a quarter of a century is also the time to reflect on the road we have taken together to get where we are today. We have overcome difficult moments, together, and that has also made us stronger. All employees involved have worked hard (and they still do) to create a tasty future with tasty products and passionate people who share the same values of respect, cooperation and ambition.
25 years of shaping a tasty future
From the company's early days in Madrid to its move to Sant Just Desvern in 1993; its commitment to acquisitions, including the margarine and fats business of Henkel and Lasem, and Panavi-Ohayo in Moià, as well as a stake in Lípidos Santiga; from the inauguration and later expansion of the margarine and fats plant in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda to the recent update of the Vandemoortele corporate identity and its new mission in 2017 to bring the best flavours to the table, kitchen and wherever our cutomers may be.
Sand animation: a unique piece of art
During the celebration in Barcelona, Didi Rodan translated our story not by using words but with sand.
A word of thank you
From Vandemoortele and on behalf of Giorgio Benedetti, commercial director for South Europe MCOF,: “We want to thank all of our employees, customers and suppliers for their hard work and commitment to always offering their best performance to create a 'Tasty Future' with top-quality, flavourful products for our customers and consumers. Thank you for this quarter life together."
