we can proudly announce that our plant in Izegem has extended its "Factory of the Future" award for the next 3 years! After WINNING THE AWARD IN 2020, this new recognition shows that our Izegem factory is a reference factory both inside and outside Vandemoortele.
During this 2023 edition, Vandemoortele joins the winning list alongside many other flourishing companies such as the Barry Callebaut Group, Pomuni, Audi Brussels, TotalEnergies and Daikin Europe.
Factory of the Future
A Factory of the Future is a future-oriented manufacturing company that uses the most advanced digital technologies to implement intelligent and sustainable processes. It makes creative and optimised use of available materials and energy and puts faith in innovative business models that focus on empowering employees. Its products often have a high added value and respond flexibly to increasingly specific customer needs. This award is granted annually to several companies in Flanders who have mastered the 7 Transformation Criteria. The winners can call themselves a Factory of the Future for 3 years.
Extending our status of Factory of the Future
