Working towards zero carbon emissions and energy efficiency is not only part of our sustainability commitments, it is also a necessity for these times.
Since 2015, we've implemented 176 energy efficiency projects resulting in combined energy savings of approximately 11.000 MWh.
We have also succeeded to reduce our CO2 emissions, saving 37.000 Tons.
What can you do with 11.000 MWh?

Measuring is to know
That is why, at our production site at Saint-Vulbas in France, our operators and supervisors have access to a dashboard that shows nearly real-time energy data, allowing them to detect any abnormalities in energy consumption.
Studies have shown that energy consumption can be reduced by between 5% and 8% through such monitoring.
By the end of this year, all of our production sites in France will use dashboards like this!

Reducing our impact on the climate
The pilot project at Saint-Vulbas is just one example of our efforts to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions, such as carbon dioxide, from our production processes.
Besides minimising our energy consumption, we also maximise the use of sustainable and renewable energy sources. And we ensure that the fossil fuels that we use, are used in an efficient manner.
