Fact1️⃣

100% of the Vandemoortele production sites underwent an unannounced audit.

This means they couldn't prepare and the audit is a real representation of their daily activities. After these audits they all achieved the 'prepared for unannounced audit' status. 🏅

Fact2️⃣

Bake'Up® helped us to reduce the size of our pastry products and cardboard boxes with 60%.

Thanks to this technology the products can go straight from the freezer into the oven, saving bakers a lot of time, while helping us to lower our carbon footprint.

We celebrated 40 years of our delicious and unique French bakery and pastry products by Banquet d'Or®. 

Banquet d'Or® is now even expanding their business to the USA and Asia.

Fact4️⃣

We won the Silver Best Product Award for our Grilled Vegetables Focaccia.

The German culinary magazine KÜCHE awarded our Grilled Vegetables Focaccia in the category ‘Savoury Bakery Products’. The jury was particularly impressed by the fact that our focaccia is an authentic product that brings the Italian way of life to Germany. 🏆

300 leaders have followed our 'Leaders 4 Growth' leadership programme. 

This internal programme ensures we have leaders who are strong in performance, who live by our values and who support their people in achieving our aspired-to economic, ecological and social results.

Our VANDEMOORTELE® sauces, like mayonnaise, are made with 100% free-range eggs. 

This means that the hens are not locked in cages but  are allowed to go outside. 🐔

In 2023, we renamed our business line formerly known as Margarines, Culinary Fats and Oils (MCOF) to Plant-Based Food Solutions (PBFS).

By rebranding, we clearly state our ambitious plans to offer more plant-based foods and solutions, and we position the business line for long-term success in a rapidly evolving market.

73% of our products in Plant-Based Food Solutions are plant-based.

We aim to further increase our positive impact by expanding the share of plant-based products in this business line. 🌱

Offering plant-based alternatives is only one of the commitments within our corporate goal 'Conscious Nutrition'.
