Jean Vandemoortele, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Jules Noten, CEO of the Vandemoortele Group and representatives of the local authorities officially opened the new Vandemoortele production plant in Kutno in mid-October. In their speeches, Jean Vandemoortele and Jules Noten highlighted the significance of the new plant for the region and the company in front of guests from federal, state and local government as well as customers, suppliers and employees of the factory. Approximately 30 million Euros were invested in the construction and state-of-the-art production facilities. In the Center of Kutno approx. 10,000 square meters and a total of 52 jobs were created. 31 employees work in the factory, where two production lines for baguettes and Kaiser rolls have been put into operation. The commissioning of another production line for pastry is planned for the beginning of 2017. The new plant will significantly expand Vandemoorteles Footpring for the European market.
